Biography
Raised in New Orleans and educated at Louisiana State University and Tulane, glass artist Mitchell Gaudet has never had to look very far for inspiration for his creations.
He has actively exhibited in commercial galleries across the United States since 1990, showing at Arthur Roger Gallery in New Orleans, Lead Gallery in Seattle and Perry Nicole Fine Art in Memphis. Other venues for exhibitions include the Lauren Rodgers Museum in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Pilchuck Glass School in Washington. Mitchell was a founder and instructor of the New Orleans School of GlassWorks which began in 1990.
